Pricing & Engagement Models
Transparent about how we work and price — a clear, fixed quote before anything starts.
How we price
We don't sell off-the-shelf packages, because no two projects are the same. Instead we price by engagement model — and give you a clear, fixed quote tailored to your actual scope.
Below are the three ways teams typically work with us, how we move from a conversation to a fixed price, and answers to the pricing questions we hear most often.
Engagement models
Every project is bespoke, so we price by how we work together — not off-the-shelf packages. Pick the model that fits, and we'll turn it into a clear, fixed quote after a short discovery call.
Fixed-scope project
A defined deliverable, a fixed quote.
Best for: Websites, redesigns, app MVPs and design systems with a clear, agreed scope.
- Discovery to lock scope and goals
- Fixed, itemised quote before we start
- Agreed milestones and timeline
- Design, build and QA to the spec
- Launch support and handover
Monthly retainer
An ongoing partner for design & growth.
Best for: Teams that need continuous design, development, SEO or CRO support each month.
- A set block of hours or capacity per month
- Prioritised backlog you control
- Regular reporting and check-ins
- Flexible mix of design, dev, SEO & CRO
- Predictable monthly cost
UX audit / sprint
A focused, time-boxed engagement.
Best for: Validating an idea, fixing conversion friction, or a fast, focused piece of work.
- Time-boxed scope (typically 1–2 weeks)
- UX / conversion audit with findings
- Prioritised, actionable recommendations
- Optional prototype or quick-win build
- A clear path to the next phase

How we scope & price
A simple, transparent path from first conversation to a fixed quote — so you always know what you're getting and what it costs.
1. Discovery
A short call to understand your goals, audience, scope and constraints. We ask the questions that drive cost — pages, integrations, timeline and who owns content.
2. Proposal
We map the work into a clear plan: deliverables, milestones, timeline and the engagement model that fits best — fixed project, retainer or sprint.
3. Fixed quote
You get an itemised, fixed quote before any work starts — so you know exactly what you are paying for, with no hourly surprises.
4. Build & deliver
We deliver against the agreed milestones with regular check-ins, then launch and hand over. Want to keep going? We move you onto a retainer.

Pricing FAQs
How much does a website or app cost?+
It depends on scope — number of pages or screens, complexity, integrations, and how much content and design is already in place. Rather than guess, we run a short discovery call and give you a clear, fixed quote. That way the price reflects your actual project, not a generic package.
Why don't you list exact prices?+
Every engagement is bespoke, so a fixed price list would either over-charge simple projects or under-deliver on complex ones. Instead we share our engagement models and how we scope, then give you an exact fixed quote after discovery — usually within a few days.
What is the difference between a fixed project and a retainer?+
A fixed-scope project has a defined deliverable and a single fixed quote — ideal for a website, redesign or app MVP. A monthly retainer is an ongoing partnership with a set capacity each month — ideal when you need continuous design, development, SEO or CRO support.
Do you offer a free consultation?+
Yes. The initial discovery call is free and no-obligation. We use it to understand your project and recommend the right approach — you only commit once you have a clear quote you are happy with.
Are there any hidden or hourly costs?+
No. For fixed-scope work you get an itemised fixed quote agreed up front, so there are no hourly surprises. If new scope comes up mid-project, we flag it and quote it separately before doing the work.
How do payments work?+
For projects we typically split payment across agreed milestones; retainers are billed monthly. We confirm the exact terms in writing in your proposal before the project starts.
